George and Wendy Rodrigue had contacted me earlier to ask if it would be okay to show Governor Blanco some images of my work. I said I had to think about it. Just kidding. She came by to see the works in person. Says she has a vision for the Governors Mansion and it includes Contemporary Louisiana Artists. What a refreshing idea.
